The Drupa exhibition gives us the chance to show our world leading continuous web and sheet fed hologram application models, together with a selection from our huge range of other off-line value added finishing machinery.
Dimuken continues its established position as the worlds leading supplier of continuous web hologram application machinery with installations at many Government printers and leading commercial security printers around the world. Sales of its high volume sheet fed hologram model and the holostripe applicator model have increased considerably in the last few years. The hot stamping of security holograms and kinegrams on value documents remains a major growth sector worldwide.
At Drupa 2012 we will feature our range of hot foil stamping models for the application of security Holograms or Kinegrams (sometimes called Ovid’s - optically variable devices) on products such as passports, ID cards, certificates, cheques, coupons, event tickets, mass transit tickets, vouchers etc. All models can run custom or stock image holograms or hot stamping foils and the continuous web models can also run MICR or OCR encoding, numbering, blind embossing and small area patch printing.
Apart from Holograms, adding security features to documents has become a major business worldwide to counteract fraud, and our DC 9740 Inkjet Printer is now offered in both a continuous web and sheet fed version to print variable data such as address files, security numbering in special invisible UV/IR inks, jumbo numbering, checksum digits, modulus weighted bar codes, bitmap images etc.
