IPEX 2010

 

At IPEX 2010 we featured our range of hot foil stamping models for the application of security Holograms or Kinegrams (sometimes called Ovid’s - optically variable devices) on products such as passports, ID cards, certificates, cheques, coupons, event tickets, mass transit tickets, vouchers etc. All models can run custom or stock image holograms or hot stamping foils and the continuous web models can also run MICR or OCR encoding, numbering, blind embossing and small area patch printing

Apart from Holograms, adding security features to documents has become a major business worldwide to counteract fraud, and our DC 9740 Inkjet Printer is now offered in both a continuous web and sheet fed version to print variable data such as address files, security numbering in special invisible UV/IR inks, jumbo numbering, checksum digits, modulus weighted bar codes, bitmap images etc.

Also on show was our A4 Rotary Sheeter which was launched at the IPEX 2006 show. As expected from the interest the A4 Rotary Sheeter generated from visitors to exhibition, the machine was purchased off the stand and delivered to a customer in SE Asia.
