Dimuken Magnetic Tape Applicator DC-9745
Dimuken has introduced a new modular unit designed specially for the production of Car Park Tickets, Airline Boarding Passes, Event Tickets, Transit Passes and other such applications where a magnetic stripe or continuous strip of hologram foil is required on the web.
Application Usage
The Hologram-Encoder has been designed to execute many processes on sprocket fed paper. The facility to apply Holograms or security foiling to documents requiring high security such as cheques, bonds, certificates, coupons, deeds, degree certificates, diplomas, driving licences, event tickets, exam certificates, gift certificates, gift vouchers, ID cards, lottery tickets, residence permits, security labels, stock certificates, share certificates, sports tickets, travellers cheques, visas, warrants, forms and mailers is becoming more imperative to avoid document fraud and help prevent counterfeiting. All these processes also enhance the product to give greater value and visual impact.
Basic Configuration
The tape or foil is applied to the web by using a heated rotary impression cylinder which ensures perfect impression, tension and heat control. Dimuken can supply optional custom made impression cylinders to suit various job specifications. Production speeds will vary according to the kind of materials being used with average speeds in 30 ~ 35m/min range. The maximum mechanical speed of the machine is around 50m/min.
The temperature of the impression cylinder is digitally controlled up to 180oC to suit the application of a variety of materials. The tape unwind reels have individual powder brake units fitted to give precise unwind tension control. The tape waste rewind positions are fitted with torque limited tension control systems.
Custom punching of the web can be performed on the Dimuken Die Cutter DC-8203 model which can be run in-line with the Magnetic Tape Applicator DC-9745 for the production of tickets, airline boarding passes etc..
